Ron Paul 2012: “Testing The Waters”
Texas Representative Ron Paul has taken a small step in the direction of running for PResident in 2012 by opening up “testing the waters” account that will allow him to raise money for his potential GOP nomination bid.
The account, created separately from Paul’s LibertyPAC will allow him to receive donations in order to decide whether or not he has the financial support necessary to run for President. His level of grassroots support, much of it driven by online networks, has been increasingly evident in recent months. He was the CPAC Straw Poll winner in 2010 and 2011, and continues to do well in many of the major national polls. Paul raised approximately $3 million dollars in the first quarter of 2011, and spokesmen have stated that he has obtained the paperwork necessary to file for a campaign, giving him the ability to “flip a switch” if he does decide to run next month.
Paul, who ran unsuccessful campaigns as a Republican in 2008 and as the Libertarian nominee in 1988, fully launched his last Presidential bid in March of 2007, and is expected to announce his decision to run or fold for 2012 in early May. His unorthodox fundraising techniques, known as one-day “money-bombs” have pushed him to the front of the fundraising pack, ahead many of the more well known candidates. He also received less money from Political Action Committees than any other candidate in the 2008 Presidential Campaign, receiving much of his campaign funding from individual donors instead. He has served eleven terms in Congress, spanning from 1976 to 1984 and from 1996 to the present. He considered running for President again in 1992 but instead endorsed candidate Pat Buchanan against the incumbent President George H. W. Bush. He represents Texas’ 14th Congressional District.
Dr Ron Paul is this nation’s last hope before it’s downturn into the dark abyss of tyranny. The dawn of the New World Order is upon us. When the president wars with sovereign nations with zero approval from congress, our supposed representatives of the people. This signals a marked change of the type of government we have become accustom to, now looking at the end of our freedoms and liberties. And the systematic transfer of wealth from the American people to large corporate banking interests who have no regard for their enslaved subjects. Any other choice besides Ron Paul would be a grave mistake. All others have either been paid off, blackmailed, or enjoy being party to evil. From Ron Paul’s perfect voting record, it can be assertaned he would continue his fight to defend the Constitution and Bill of Rights, thus insuring our liberties and freedoms that the flawed system is taking away from us daily. To be truthful the term the new world order is really a clever ploy that really means it’s opposite, this has always been about taking the power back from the people and giving it back to small groups of elite rulers the same as the Dark Ages had. Our nations “Great Experiment” of self rulership is about to come to a close, with a Global tyranny put into its place. May Jesus help us all…or just come back, either way good will triumph over evil. In the meantime don’t throw away your vote on any other candidate, vote for your own rights, freedoms, and liberties: Vote for Ron Paul 2012.
I will vot for Ron Paul. Of all the running candidates, not one upholds the Constitution . None of the candidates even mentions the Constitution except for Ron Paul. He stands for all that I believe in and he and my family and friends will all vote for him. I believe he is our best choice. Well that is if you believe that what is right is what matters. Not giving the IRS nor the Federal Reserve all the power and destroy the middle class. Who will stand up for us? For sure not Obuma, nor his socialist party who are bent on spending what is not theirs, giving away billions to foreign governments, further needless wars, death of our young men, needless spending on what? and for whom? We are no more safe today than we were before 9/11, bailouts, lies, and the destruction of our people WE THE PEOPLE NEED A MAN OF PRINCIPLE THAT LOVES THIS COUNTRY not someone, who cannot present us with a birthcertificate? How can we b elieve this man anymore?
