Rick Santorum Diggs His Own Grave
Rick Santorum, who was looking great for the US Presidential Elections 2012, has failed to come up with several major issues and as a result, he needs to focus more. His failure in coping up with the hype of his presidential bid, a series of misfortunes and errors in the organization of the campaign have all leaked the momentum.
Santorum’s biggest goof was when he said that he didn’t care for the unemployment rate. That was the particular moment when he slipped all the momentum. The moment came when he was addressing to the people of Illinois. He said that he did not care what the unemployment rate. He added that his campaign was much more concerned about other things that are going on, rather than the unemployment or the growth rate.
The conservative republican leader clearly made a mess out of his self. The Americans are pretty much concerned about their jobs and earnings, and to give such clumsy remarks is a big big mistake. Mitt Romney pounced over the mistake and labeled him as the Economic Lightweight.
Mitt Romney said that he is quite amazed about a candidate for the Republican nomination who cannot care about the unemployment rate. He added that it’s an alarming situation which bothers him a lot. The republican leader further said unemployment is one of the biggest issues that bother him the most, as he wants to see the people to get work.
