Who We Are:

Our writing and editing staff is made up of several different backgrounds and professions, working as one to make this website the premier destination for local, national and global election news.

Sarah Thoms

• Published online and in print since high school.
• Majoring in Journalism
• Maintain several daily and weekly blogs.
• Political activist since childhood, former campaign aide

Staff:

Debby Pernal
• Pursued Journalism in Middle school and High school.
• Was Features Editor and Editor in Chief on both school newspapers. Award winner for Bruin.
• Minored in Journalism at University of California, Los Angeles.
• Interned for multiple independent local newspapers.
• Served as freelance stringer as a result after graduation.
• Continues to write freelance features and local news.

Alexandra Taylor
• Majored in Communications
• Intern for 3 newspapers during college
• Editor In Chief of local political newsletter

Brandon Miller
• Covers political rallies and events for YouTube based news show
• Writes for small political blog.
• Pursuing Internet Technology degree.

Erin Rice
• Excelled at Journalism in private high school.
• Introduced multimedia website for school newspaper.
• Majored in Journalism at NYU.
• Interned for several independent local newspapers.
• Interned for local cable news channels.
• City desk experience. Editorial experience.
• Continues to freelance feature news and local music news as well as district band events.

• Majored in Philosophy
• Submits weekly editorials to local newspapers.
• Volunteered for 2008 Presidential campaign.
• Political forum contributor/moderator.
