AlaskaPoll: Palin at 61% Unfavorable

Sarah Palin may be having some trouble with the voting demographic from her own home state of Alaska. According to results released Wednesday, the Dittman Research Corporation’s AlaskaPoll showed the former Governor and potential 2012 Presidential candidate rated at 61% unfavorably by a survey taken between March 3 and March 17th of approximately 400 Alaskans. It also revealed that 39% of those who viewed her negatively self identified as “very unfavorable” toward her. The Dittman Research and Communications group worked with many members of the Alaskan GOP, and President Matt Larkin diagnosed the outcome as a result of Alaskan’s feeling “Sarah Palin fatigue” in an article Wednesday by USAToday.

Palin’s highest approval rating was around 86% as Governor of the state and 88% as the first nominated female candidate for the Vice Presidency just after August 2008 during the McCain-Palin ticket. Her slump in the polls was triggered by tensions sparked in the aftermath of the Tuscon shooting spree that left Arizona Representative Gabrielle Gifford in Intensive Care and six others dead, and her rating has been dragged down further due to her recently distant relationship with the American public, although she did make an attempt to increase her foreign policy credentials during that time with a trip to the Middle East where she was outspoken in her support of Israel.

The release of a new user-friendly enhanced PAC website, “SarahPAC” and a eye-catching appearance at a Tea Party rally last Saturday in the capital of the embattled “purple” state of Wisconsin have increased the speculation about her 2012 Presidential aspirations. In the days since the 2008 election Palin has created a lucrative speaking and television career and has easily become one of the most recognizable figures of the current political atmosphere, and it has been reported that conflict over whether to give up such a profitable arrangement has been the reason for delay in her decision. Her contract with Fox News as a paid contributor has not been suspended, as it was for likely 2012 candidates Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum, who have since created the foundations for exploratory committees.

Backsliding in the polls may have triggered her reemergence into the limelight. The unfavorable rating coming last month out of Palin’s home state also combines with another recent poll from NBC News and the Wall Street Journal that showed just over half of Americans (53%) had a negative to very negative view of Palin. Furthermore, only 20% of Independents, a key demographic for any Republican Presidential candidate, surveyed by NBC and WSJ had a favorable view of Palin. The efforts by Alaska’s current legislative body to reverse some of the measures put into place during Palin’s rather short period of time as Governoris likely a large factor in the statewide poll, which had a margin of error of +/- 4.9%.

Below is a clip from Governor Palin’s speech in Madison, Wisconsin, Saturday.

Polls taken from 400 Alaskans just to discredit Palin?

As evil spirits control only the “children of disobedience”, sampling can be extrapolated to only those people controlled by the devil.

Christians are not controlled by evil spirits so sampling CAN NEVER give any picture of how the good people will vote.

Please read article from an Alaskan:

The Dittman Research & Communications Corporation, let out a doosie today.”

“The views of Alaskans, which encompass a diverse population of over 700,000 residents covering over 550,000 square miles of vast terrain, were somehow easily summarized by 400 “public at large” who answered their phone between March 3rd and March 17th, 2011. The survey, as is customary for this organization, fails to identify likely voters or registered voters. It fails to show sample size of republicans, democrats, and independents represented.”

  7. Good Lord Jack! says:

You think “KNOW ONE” is the same as “No one” and you even mispelled Floridagrammy when all you had to do was cut and paste the name and YOU have the nerve to call others stupid?

    • Jack says:

Yeah, I got carried away……”spelling mistakes” are all you focused on?

What matters is the meaning of the comments. Which you ignored

This is not an English Test

      • trigg prop palin says:

100 bucks says Jack is from South Carolina. I’d also bet $50 that he has more that 5 teeth missing or decaying. Damn liberal dentists with their communist agendas.

        • willegge says:

Hey t p p your a disgusting low life using a good persons Down Syndrome baby to make political jabs. You people are pathetic. These polls are a joke, really . If Sarah Palin runs she will win.

    • Wedlimk says:

you know you’ve lost the argument when all u can do is point out irrelevant spellling errors. Did it hinder your ability to decypher his message? Didnt think so… u just have no argument.

      • trigg prop palin says:

Jack, you found a thesaurus! You’re too smart to be from South Carolina, I’m gonna guess Alabama. You said “handle” earlier, too funny. We got a Great Big Convoy rockin’ thru the night. Were your surprised that thesaurus was not a type of dinosaur?

      • trigg prop palin says:

You know you’ve received a bad education, when you go to Message Boards and you type like an 8 year old. Did Knowbody learned him at skool?

  8. Floridagrammy says:

@Tawny, Sarah is the worst thing to ever happen to Alaska.. She has made us the laughing stock of the world. She is known in Wasilla as a epic failure quitter. She is the most corrupt politician in the history of Alaska. If in your mind you think she epitomizes and personifies the Alaskan spirit and character, then you’re as mentally ill as she is.

    • Jack says:

      Your “handle” says FLORIDAGRANNY !

Oh yeah, you ARE that stupid

FYI: Governor Murkowski and his Chief of Staff ARE LEGALLY the most corrupt. Corruption is defined by “personal gain” at the “public expense” WHILE IN OFFICE.

  9. Jack says:

    KNOW ONE BELIEVES THIS

Dittman Research & Communications was named in a FELONY SUIT along with Governor Murkowski chief of staff Jim Clark for hiding the illegal campaign contributions to Gov. Murkowski.

Willfully present the readers with data from a company that shills for anti-Palin factions that have run afoul of the law.

    THAT IS BIASED REPORTING !

    BIASED POLLS !

  10. Tawny Jones says:

Dimwit Reasearch Corporation says what? In fact, most Alaskans are very proud of Gov. Sarah Palin, and they are quite happy to have her as the face & voice of Alaska. She epitomizes and personifies the Alaskan spirit & character.

    • $aint$arahP says:

Thanks Tawny! Can I count on your support in 2012? Please send money. Todd needs a good massage and Trapp, Bristol, and Twig need new cars. Thanks.

      • Jack says:

Palin gets my support. She will get my Vote and Money.

When the Leftwing Liberal Media attacks her for THREE STRAIGHT YEARS and HER CHILDREN, you know she terrifies these people.

NO ONE in the Democratic Party exposes corruption “in their own party”.

Sarah Palin does, and that is why she is a “threat to both sides”.

        • $aint$arahP says:

Thanks Jack for your support! People are just jealous of me! And thanks for any donation you send! I promise I won’t quit the Presidency unless people are really mean to me or someone offers me a boatload of cash!
